Travel Ideas
So since we have the opportunity to do some awesome traveling this year, I thought I’d do a quick post about some of the places we’re hoping to get to! Any thoughts or insight from fellow travelers, would be great.
1. Jordan: I’ve mentioned this one before, but we’re super stoked to add this to our list of places we’ve been.
2. Belgium: We want to visit Peter’s parents who live in Belgium. It’s a great country I’ve now been to twice. But I also really want to see a Christmas market. Europe is beautiful in the winter, I’m certain.
3. Greece or Turkey: This is a debate because although we want to go to both, we are going to decide on one at a time. No need to rush through countries! I want to see beautiful scenery and eat yummy food.
4. Nepal or Iran: Again, a debate of which to see. Peter and I are each planning a vacay so this one is his call and these are the two he is debating. But it’s a toughy – both are unique and beautiful places, so it seems.
Have you been to any of these countries?

I haven’t but Turkey and Greece are on my must-see list. Jordan too. And Belgium. And Nepal :)

Love love love Belgium! :) I really enjoyed spending time there back in 2010. I haven’t been to any of the other places, but a friend of mine really enjoyed Jordan. I think I would like to see Nepal one day too.
Where did you get to Belgium? I’ve been to Brussels and Mons. Both were lovely!

I haven’t been to any of them, but many of them are on my list. Nepal looks really interesting to me, I’ve often thought about it, but because of where it is (and how expensive it would be to get there) it’s never been high on my list. I’d be very interested in seeing pictures and finding out what you thought about it. Perhaps it would become higher on my list.
I’m a little jealous about you going to Jordan. I’ve really wanted to go there (in fact it’s the only picture I have on my map to keep me driven to travel…it’s not the only thing that keeps me driven though :)
Greece and Turkey are about equal in how much I want to see them. They both offer so much and I really look forward to seeing them both someday (God willing).

Thanks for your insight! :) I agree, Nepal always seemed “too far” away, but now it seems a bit more realistic. It’s just so intriguing! I look forward to seeing Greece and/or Turkey as well. Perhaps with some fun company as well!!
